Royal Philips Electronics says the SpeechExec Enterprise 3 digital dictation system targets large law firms with complex workflow structures. The interface includes a user relations manager that helps administrators link authors and typists at the click of a button, simplifying team management and resource planning. A group manager function helps firms define department-specific dictation properties, such as custom information fields that are only shown to users with appropriate access. Administrators can create general and group-specific work types, and can enter user data manually, or download it from the Active Directory.

The SpeechExec for BlackBerry 1.5 software helps users send dictations via BlackBerry, even in areas with poor mobile reception. It provides users with a confirmation that the file has been sent. A microSD card helps store and transfer data. The company (www.philips.com) is based in the Netherlands.
