Guidance Software (www.guidancesoftware.com) has unveiled its EnCase eDiscovery 4. It integrates legal hold process; pre-collection analytics; identification, preservation, and collection; processing, analysis, and early case assessment; and first-pass review.
The software helps attorneys understand case facts, prepare for "meet and confer" conferences, negotiate keywords with opponents, and perform first-pass review in-house to reduce data sets prior to outside attorney review, says the California company.
