California’s IntApp (www.intapp.com) has sold its Wall Builder software to several law firms. It helps firms control, monitor, and report user access rights across multiple software, including document management, accounting, client relationship, time entry, and records management systems. It automatically notifies individuals subject to specific policies. Purchasers include:
• Townsend and Townsend and Crew (www.townsend.com). Conflicts supervisor Julie Ashmore said the firm previously flagged matters subject to ethical screens in Open Text LegalKEY software, and "wanted to enhance our approach to compliance with the centralized confidentiality management capabilities provided by Wall Builder." She cited security controls across document libraries, policy notifications, and internal reporting as other factors in the firm’s decision.
