Michigan-based Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn (www.honigman.com), which is ranked #159 on the “2010 AmLaw 200″ list, has selected 3BClean from England’s 3BView (www.3bview.com) as its server-base metadata cleaning software. It helps the firm reduce the risk of unwanted metadata being forwarded via any e-mail client or server including BlackBerry, Palm, PDA, iPhone, and webmail.
“The product works behind the scenes to ensure that hidden edits are eliminated and that only clean final documents are sent via Honigman’s e-mail system,” explains Craig Hardtke, the firm’s technology director.
