Foley & Lardner, a national law firm with 21 offices worldwide and approximately 1,000 lawyers — ranked 36th largest firm in 2010 according to the Am Law 100 — has announced that it will work with Orem, Utah-based NetDocuments, a content management software provider. NetDocuments software as a service will serve as the firm’s new document management system; the company offers a single platform, accessible worldwide, for documents, e-mails, and other records.

The NetDocuments cloud-based service supports content searching, two-factor authentication, ethical wall security, e-mail and digital records management, and built-in business continuity with two, redundant world-class data centers. Additionally, the NetDocuments service provides firms a very simple, yet secure way to collaborate and share documents with their clients.

Foley aims to use NetDocuments to add substantive value for clients, as well as increase the efficiency of their attorneys to access documents in a global, cloud-based service from all of their office locations.
