Houston-based law firm Andrews Kurth has announced the addition of Dean William Harvey as a partner in the firm’s corporate section. Practicing out of the firm’s Dallas office, Harvey advises clients on a wide range of technology-related transactions, including software acquisition and development, licensing and outsourcing agreements, and security issues.
Harvey brings over a decade of IT experience to Andrews Kurth, a 400-attorney firm with more than a half-dozen offices in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining the firm, Harvey worked for technology giants IBM and EDS (now HP Enterprise Services), in addition to helming his own software consulting company. He is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and West Virginia University, where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in computer science.
