Digital Reef, a Mass.-based provider of software for e-discovery and digital information governance, has announced a development partnership with Ill.-based kCura’s Relativity web-based e-discovery review platform. The collaboration has produced the Digital Reef Review Exchange, which allows users to exchange review-ready native files and documents within Relativity, as well as execute document and file searches — and analysis — within the platform’s interface.
Some of the planned benefits include the ability to work on matter collections, processing, early case assessments, and legal review, while the e-discovery software automatically manages the legal process and flow of information per the Electronic Discovery Reference Model. It is also expected to eliminate the need to customize review-ready manifests and to manually load native files. Additional searches and analysis can be performed without having to leave the Relativity user interface.
