World Software Company has announced the release of its iPad app for Worldox, the N.J.-based developer’s document management system. The app will permit users to download, edit, and e-mail documents directly on the iPad, as well as offer direct access shortcuts, search forms, and bookmark options. Users will also be able to profile and upload new files from their iPad directly into Worldox, in addition to checking revised files in and out of the management system.
World Software is offering the app free of charge to all Worldox maintenance customers, but has stated that users will need Worldox GX2 and Worldox/ Web Mobile to connect via iPad. The company’s president hopes that attorneys can become “more productive with the Worldox iPad app at their fingertips.”
