World Software Company, the Ridgewood, N.J.-based maker of Worldox document management software, has released the Worldox Productivity Suite. The new suite features workflow tools, as well as an event notifier, task reminder, and instant messaging application, and includes a Word comparison tool and PDF utilities from DocsCorp.
According to the company, the suite works as an add-on to the Worldox document management system, by integrating into the system’s toolbars, menus, and document file structure. The DocsCorp components allow you to compare Word documents but not PDF files. And although you can output to PDF in the new suite, redaction features are not included. You can, however, purchase a full-featured license of the DocsCorp tools to use in Worldox.
