SFL Data, a San Francisco-based e-discovery software and services provider for corporations, government agencies, and law firms, has promoted two executives. Andy Crain is the new vice president of forensics and collections. Chris Kitterman has been promoted to chief technology officer.

Kitterman will oversee IT functions as CTO, such as the build-out and review of e-discovery software, including that from Clearwell and Relativity. He has a background in commercial, employment, and toxic tort litigation. Kitterman was formerly IT director at the now-defunct San Francisco law firm, Thelen Reid Brown Raysman & Steiner, and was a training and special projects specialist at GMA Research Corporation. He graduated from Washington State University.
