Litigation support services firm BlueStar Case Solutions has announced the release of EDD Toolkit, a free e-disccovery smartphone app intended to assist users looking for quick answers regarding pending e-discovery projects.
The Chicago-based company says its app includes a cost estimator, which can be used to gauge potential expenditures on data and document review, a time estimator that predicts timeframes for data conversion from paper to electronic format, and a conversion table for estimating the number of documents or pages found in a user-defined amount of data. The app also provides a glossary function that allows users to access definitions and explanations of commonly used e-discovery terminology.
