Microsystems announced 13 new law firms added Microsystems Software to their lineup with an aim to improve document creation and editing, as well as facilitate secure document transfer. In the U.S., Davis Wright Tremaine, Hahn Loeser & Parks, Linowes and Blocher, Riddell Williams, Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, and Zuckerman Spaeder were among the firms that licensed DocXtools or software for metadata scrubbing on the desktop.

Microsystems DocXtools are designed to enhance the productivity of Microsoft Word users by extending the application’s compare, cross-reference, style, numbering, and table of contents functionality. Microsystems’ software also provides automated tools that identify and correct document conversion between versions of Word 2002-2007 and 2010.
