Los Angeles-based CompuLaw, which publishes the CompuLaw Vision calendar/docket matter management software with built-in court rules databases, has launched its Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) electronic case filing integration (ECFI), which is the first offering from the company’s court integration suite: CompuLaw CourtConnect.
The goal for the ECFI program is the analysis and automatic parsing of appropriate PACER notice of electronic filing (NEF) information. With ECFI, CompuLaw users can import NEF e-mails through a designated firm inbox and download the underlying documents to a specific network location. The NEF data works with the CompuLaw web portal and Microsoft Outlook.
