When you engage collaborative research and writing in a law firm, you have to periodically stop and ask yourself whether or not you are on the same page as your colleagues. To date, WestlawNext has helped with this task by allowing you to share online research folders with other members of the firm. But what if your collaboration extends to outside counsel or clients?
Now WestlawNext folders can be shared with individuals and groups in other organizations outside of your firm. When I created or managed a folder in WestlawNext, I enabled sharing in one click and selected individuals from my Contacts list to view, add, and remove content from a shared folder. See Figure 1.
