There’s no question that mobile devices are changing the world we live in. The things that we used to do on our desktop or laptop — e-mail, buy online, download apps, make dinner reservations — we now do on our mobile devices, and much, much more. Much of what’s happening in the mobile world is happening on Android phones from manufacturers like Samsung, Dell, Motorola, LG, Sony-Ericsson, and HTC.

But Android’s popularity is not limited to mobile developers and manufacturers. It’s also being extended to tablets, HDTVs, and even cars; the list of applications for Android continues to grow (250,000 as of this writing).
