Document management specialist Datassimilate is aiming to make early case assessment technology more affordable for use in small lawsuits.
Datassimilate, in Toronto, developed its PowerSearch ECA software two years ago for in-house use on an Agriculture Canada document review project. It debuted as a stand-alone product last week and is notable for its pricing — the software is free and customers pay to save their search results using prepaid tokens that cost fractions of a penny.
