Apple has settled a class action over allegedly defective power adapters for Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pro computers.
The agreement provides cash refunds of $35 to $79 to class members whose adapters show signs of “fraying, melting, straining, sparking, weakening, discoloration, bubbling, overheating and/or separation of the adaptor’s strain reliefs.” It also provides for in-warranty and out-of-warranty replacements.
