Litéra, a manufacturer of content lifecycle management software, has released Metadacte, server-based software that removes metadata from e-mail messages and attachments sent from Outlook and other mail clients, mobile devices, webmail, and smartphones. Metadacte aims to protect the confidentiality and privacy of information that may be compromised in the context of an outgoing e-mail message.
