Summation’s e-discovery and litigation support software will get a long-awaited overhaul this fall, giving customers simpler user interfaces, a mobile application, and new features.

The legacy Summation products include document review and case management in browser-based and client-server configurations. Modernized versions were planned in the past, but were stalled ahead of Wolters Kluwer selling the CT Summation business to AccessData, explained Caitlin Murphy, the AccessData senior product marketing manager, who is also an attorney.
