We’re finalizing plans for LegalTech New York 2012, and it’s shaping up to be an exhilarating conference, running Jan. 30 through Feb. 1. As always, we’ll be taking over the Hilton New York, providing seemingly endless opportunities to meet with legal technology vendors, see demonstrations of their latest products and services, and attend panel discussions and keynote addresses featuring our industry’s leaders.
Kevin Genirs, general counsel, investment banking, at Barclays Capital, will present the Feb. 1 keynote. Genirs, the former GC of Lehman Brothers, will speak on “2008 v. 2011: Lessons From a Lehman Insider.” He has great insights about the regulatory issues, risk, and lessons learned from the final days of Lehman — and why it’s relevant to our technology community.
