» LexisNexis (www.lexisnexis.com) reports that its research service, Lexis.com, is now optimized for Apple’s iPad browser; iPhone and Google Android applications are expected this month. Smartphone versions perform searches for company reports; dockets; documents via case, party, and statute; expert witness profiles; Shepard’s Citations; and verdicts/settlements. But no Research In Motion edition — most big firms are phasing out BlackBerry, and smaller firms are choosing iPhones and Androids, says Pavan Mediratta, vice president for global web.
