The Pennsylvania Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Harrisburg on Wednesday in two consolidated cases that will have a lasting effect on how law enforcement authorities can utilize text messages in investigations in this state.
“We have to write for [an audience that will be reading the decision for] years to come,” Justice Seamus P. McCaffery told the attorney representing the defendants.
