The Antitrust, Civil, Civil Rights, and Tax divisions of the Justice Department have licensed Relativity, kCura’s web-based electronic discovery platform. The deal was handled by TechLaw Solutions, which manages a GSA contract for government purchases of the popular kCura software.
They join three other litigation divisions of the DOJ — the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys, Criminal, and Environmental and Natural Resources — in licensing the software for reviewing, analyzing, and producing electronic documents. Relativity has more than 52,000 users internationally including 95 of the top 100 U.S. law firms, according to the release.
