Results of the LTN Technology Vendor Survey (in conjunction with ALM Legal Intelligence) came in just in time for LegalTech New York 2012, and one word might sum up the overall spirit conveyed in the responses: optimism. Not boundless optimism, given the state of the overall economy, but pretty strong stuff nonetheless.
We heard from 82 legal technology vendor companies working in virtually all areas of the field, with the highest concentrations doing business in electronic data discovery/compliance (53 percent), document management and information governance (45 percent), litigation support excluding EDD (35 percent), practice/case management (32 percent), security (18 percent), and mobile computing (12 percent). Many respondents were executive-level managers, including CEOs, CIOs, vice presidents, and directors.
