Atlanta-based Document Technologies Inc. (DTI) announced on Jan. 25 that James Georgetti has been promoted to managing partner for the company’s New York facilities, one of 27 in their network of offices. Before his promotion, Georgetti served as assistant managing partner at the company. He was vice president of Skyline Legal Technologies when it was acquired by DTI in 2007. He will now be responsible for oversight of DTI’s New York-based initiatives, including its sales, consulting, and operations teams.

DTI is an independent provider of facilities and discovery management services that works with both legal professionals and corporate clients. Its discovery services include data acquisition, e-discovery processing, hosting and review, as well as paper discovery, and it is a primary service provider for kCura. Last year, it purchased Bridge City Legal, expanding into the Pacific Northwest.
