Electronic data discovery company Syngence Software, which makes SynthetixND, a near-duplicate search clustering technology, and the S3 Syngence Software Suite, which integrates with third-party litigation review programs. said this week it’s expanding by adding a chief technology officer and a vice president of product development.

The company, which formed in 2008 based on internet search technology from the former Syngence Corp., hired Brian Henling for the CTO role and Mahima Wijayasundara for the development position. Both were formerly executives of Ursus Technologies, a Seattle consultancy.
