Altep, an El Paso, Texas-based provider of e-discovery, computer forensics and litigation consulting and services, has announced the hiring of Warren Kruse as its new Vice President of the Data Forensics Division. Kruse will oversee the expansion of Altep’s forensics data collection and analysis, information security, risk assessment, and electronic evidence preservation service offerings.

Kruse currently serves as president of the Digital Forensics Certification Board, and has lectured frequently for groups such as the SANS Computer Security Institute, MIS Institute, Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Information Systems Security Association.
