D4, a Rochester, N.Y.-based provider of litigation support and e-discovery software and services, recently hired Cynthia Courtney as the company’s new vice president of discovery engineering.
She comes to D4, founded in 1997, from the Hartford, Conn., office of law firm Day Pitney, where she was senior counsel for e-discovery. In that capacity, Courtney handled e-discovery issues on existing cases, worked to establish best practices for litigation document collection and production, managed litigation support staff, and trained litigators.
