International law firm Reed Smith will be deploying Equivio‘s Zoom platform as part of its overall in-house e-discovery build-up, the e-discovery software provider with offices in Kensington, Md., and Tel Aviv, Israel announced Wednesday. This will aid Reed Smith’s expanding records and e-discovery team (“RED”), and will fully integrate with kCura’s Relativity, an e-discovery platform for web-based review that is being deployed firmwide.
Zoom brings to Relativity its integrated analytics framework, which includes email threading and near-duplicate technology, and its own predictive coding product Relevance. “The heart of our system is the statistical validation,” said Warwick Sharp, VP of marketing and business development at Equivio, “That is the key to the defensibility of our product.”
