TREC Legal Track — part of the U.S. government’s Text Retrieval Conference — announced last week that its 2012 experiments to retrieve information from large data sets, such as the Enron data set, are canceled. In related news, prominent e-discovery software company Recommind confirmed that it has been asked to leave the project for prematurely sharing results.
