The legal community has been developing remote work policies and models to support its mobile lawyers and other professionals. Here are some “quick takes” of five organizations’ programs.

Northwest Pioneer: LexisNexis‘ Litgation Services Group, in Bellevue, Wash., was a pioneer in remote work options. In 2007, it adopted a “green” business program designed “to improve our business, the lives of our employees, and the environment,” wrote then-senior vice president Michele Vivona in LTN .
