A pair of litigation support providers — Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions and iDiscovery Solutions — recently added early case assessment products to their portfolios and announced plans to add predictive coding products.
Both companies sell consulting services and third-party software to law firms and corporations. Early case assessment software can help customers see an overview of potentially discoverable data, officials from both companies noted. It can also be used as a first rough pass at separating responsive from non-responsive data, they said.
