Cabinet NG on Tuesday launched CNG-Share, a cloud-based file sharing application that works with the Huntsville, Al.-based company’s document and workflow management software, CNG-Safe 8.0. As a component of CNG-Safe, CNG-Share aims to extend secure document sharing and collaboration to non-CNG users outside of the law firm.
CNG-Share is designed to securely share documents stored in CNG-Safe with external users, such as clients, outside counsel, and other business associates. The cloud-based subscription service allows CNG-Safe users to post documents to a contact’s password-protected CNG-Share account. Contacts can then access and manage shared documents via a standard browser interface, as well as upload documents to their account to share with legal professionals at the firm.
