DOAR Litigation Consulting, an e-discovery services provider, announced Tuesday its hiring of Gerard Britton as a managing director of its discovery consulting practice. Lynbrook, N.Y.-based DOAR, a plaintiffs consultant in both Kleen Products v. Packaging Corporation of America and Monique da Silva Moore v. Publicis Groupe et al., was involved in the drafting of the ESI protocol for Da Silva Moore.
Britton comes to DOAR most recently from Topiary Discovery, an e-discovery consulting and services provider based in Jersey City, N.J., where he served as CEO. “The fact that DOAR is advising clients as experts at the highest levels on cutting edge legal issues is what most appealed to me,” Britton says of his decision to join the company. “Their views regarding the use of predictive coding and the importance of validation of predictive coding methods are consistent with mine.”
