The Legal Talk Network has unveiled its free Droid application (aka “app.”) With it, users can now use their Android mobile devices to listen to the company’s roster of podcasts, which include Law Technology News‘ editor-in-chief Monica Bay’s Law Technology Now (in partnership with ALM), and Lawyer 2 Lawyer, with attorneys Robert Ambrogi and J. Craig Williams, both members of LTN magazine’s editorial advisory board. Among the many other podcasts are The ESI Report from Kroll Ontrack, IP Counsel with Peter Lando, and Workers Compensation Matters, with Alan Pierce.
App users can receive alerts when new shows are published, mark favorite shows for later access, and share shows with colleagues, says Lu Ann Reeb, president of the Boston-based company. The app supports Android operating system 1.6 and up. An iPhone app is also in the works, she notes. In addition to the podcasts, the Legal Talk Network also produces legal videos and video podcasts.
