Tampa, Fla.-based Accusoft, which offers document, content, and imaging software, has introduced its Accusoft USB Scanner, an Android app that helps users connnect a scanner to tablet devices via USB.
The app can scan scan single or multipage documents and output them to PDF, .jpg, .tiff, or .bmp formats. Users can invoke the scan tool to work with a local app or a web-based program such as Google’s Gmail. Documents can be scanned from within Gmail, Google Drive, Evernote, Box, Skype, and other programs.
