Mansfield, Conn.-based WinZip Computing, a Corel company, introduced WinZip Mac Edition 2, which aims to bring Mac OS X Lion and Mountain Lion a compression utility with encryption to protect confidential information.
The new version is designed to work more efficiently than version 1, including the ability to zip and unzip from the Finder as well as an “In Place Editing” feature that enables you to open and edit documents in the container file without unzipping the contents.
