Information Graphics Corporation, an Arizona-based provider of viewing, redaction, and collaboration software, announced at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto, Canada, the release of version 7.1 of its Brava viewer for SharePoint 2010. The latest iteration integrates directly into the SharePoint workflow to add new search capabilities and secure document sharing.

Brava offers browser-based access to SharePoint files without the need to install a desktop application. Users can open a document in Brava from within the SharePoint results page and add thumbnail views to navigate its pages, the company states. Users can perform multiple searches simultaneously and customize colors for different search terms, search for pre-defined patterns such as social security numbers, or search text strings.
