LexisNexis Legal and Professional announced a new release of its legal research platform, Lexis Advance. The New York-based legal content and software provider expanded the content available from Lexis Advance with LexisNexis Verdict and Settlement Analyzer and LexisNexis e-Books and added new capabilities designed to give users more customization options and greater control in content selection, review, and analysis.

One of the first things you notice after logging into the new Lexis Advance is that you can search and browse topic or practice areas, from Administrative Law to Copyright to Workers’ Compensation. You can also search and browse the tables of contents and drill down into content types for sources, such as secondary and administrative materials, and for jurisdictions, such as U.S. federal and particular states.
