Rocket Matter rolled out it’s “Uhura” release with a number of changes that addressed customer requests and minor bug fixes last week. First and foremost, the practice management software as a service improved its file transfer utility. You can now send files up to 10 megabytes in size to your Rocket Matter services and associate the files, which can be multimedia movies or photographs, with a client matter. With that news, there are no changes to Rocket Matters policy on storage: you can store as many documents in the system as you want.
What works for files also works for email. You can now save an email message to your desktop and use the modified uploader to send the file to Rocket Matter and associate it with a matter. The system has also increased the number of characters you can use for a custom field label and added a new button in the Admin pages called “Refresh Server Cache.” If another member of the firm has added information that you don’t see in your Global Intelligent Search results, hit the button to refresh server cache.
