Judith Flournoy, CIO of Loeb & Loeb, will be leaving the firm on Sept. 17 and returning to Kelley Drye & Warren, keeping the same title. Flournoy, past president of the International Legal Technology Association and a longtime member of Law Technology News‘ Editorial Advisory Board, left the New York office of Kelley Drye in 2004, relocating to Los Angeles to take on the Loeb position.

In her second stint with Kelley Drye, she will remain in L.A. — in the same building. Kelley Drye is one floor up from Loeb at 10100 Santa Monica Blvd. “When I left in 2004, it was to return home to L.A., and family,” she said. “At the time Kelley [Drye] didn’t have an L.A. office.” But with the firm’s recent merger with White & O’Connor, she was presented with the opportunity to return, in a newly created position. “Same commute, same dry cleaners,” she said of the one-elevator-stop transfer.
