Rocket Matter rolled out a new release of their practice management software as a service, dubbed “Chekov,” with improvements in the Legal Trust Accounting module and enhancements in the user interface.

Following on the heels of their previous “Star Trek” release, called “Uhura,” the Chekov build aims to make legal trust accounting more flexible in recording payments and reserving funds. When you apply an invoice, you have the option not to transfer or reserve the funds and to process the funds manually.
