Concord, Calif.-based iEnvision Technology released a combination diagnostic tool and service for Autonomy WorkSite modules called Sentinel for WorkSite. Sentinel monitors WorkSite Document Management System log files and compares the information to a set of HP Autonomy benchmarks to find exceptions and out-of-range results. Sentinel then creates “health reports” that can be reviewed with iEnvision-trained and certified technical support people to analyze the data and develop strategies to prevent future issues.
You can configure Sentinel for WorkSite to look at a wide range of variables, such as ingestion flow, resource consumption, metadata validation, and connectivity. Rather than providing just a snapshot of your DMS, Sentinel’s regular reporting offers a visible understanding of trends and variations relating to critical DMS data points. Sentinel’s reports are graphic representations of these data changes, so that you have a clear-cut sense of even small changes that could lead to unscheduled interruptions and downtime.
