Xerox Litigation Services is adding a free automatic redaction feature to its cloud-based e-discovery software, OmniX.

The new tool searches for predetermined patterns in large sets of review documents and automatically redacts the results. Attorneys and legal professionals would work with Xerox Corp.’s staff to customize and perform quality control checks on the redaction rules before starting each review phase, explained Paul Matthews, vice president of systems operations.
