Globanet, a provider of archive, data migration, and e-discovery software and services, recently announced enhancements to its Globanet Migrate software. The enhanced product can now migrate content from Hewlett-Packard’s Mimosa NearPoint for Exchange product to other systems, including Symantec’s Enterprise Vault.cloud.
Migrate is designed to consolidate stored email messages and data into an Enterprise Vault and retire older systems, according to the company. After consolidation, users have only to maintain the database containing the messages, attachments and metadata. Maintaining mail in one location can facilitate regulatory compliance if, e.g., your mail is governed by the Security and Exchange Commission’s compliance rules.
