At the 2013 International CES this week, Cupertino, Calif.-based storage provider Seagate Technology LLC announced the second generation of its mobile Wi-Fi storage device, called Mobile Plus, which replaces the Seagate GoFlex Satellite product. The new device, which can simultaneously stream movies and other digital content to up to eight mobile devices, received a “CES Best of Innovations 2013″ award in the Computer Accessories Category.
The Wireless Plus includes a 1-terabyte hard drive and supports mobile apps for Apple iOS, Android, and the Kindle Fire. The Mobile Plus offers up to 10 hours of battery life and allows you to stream content to mobile devices over Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n).
