J. Trevor Hughes is president and CEO of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and in our February 2013 issue of LTN we highlighted his amazing keynote at the 2012 Georgetown Advanced E-Discovery Institute. Hughes’ provocation presentation was dramatically illustrated with images, ranging from classic art to YouTube, that drove home the nuances of cross-border privacy issues.

Of course, privacy has been front and center in 2013, from Edward Snowden’s leaks to Target’s stunning data breach. At LegalTech New York, 2014, Hughes, Donna Payne (PayneConsulting) and filmmaker Cullen Hoback (“Terms and Conditions Apply”) will present the Feb. 6 keynote address addressing the erosion of privacy — so it’s a good time to revisit “Privacy, Illustrated.” — Monica Bay
