Ramsey, N.J.-based Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc., a provider of enterprise hardware and software, announced the launch of Corporate Announcements, an application for businesses to display internal messages on Konica Minolta’s bizhub line of multifunctional printers.
The Corporate Announcement feature left me wondering how long it will be before I see a web business model on the bizhub MFP. That is, when a user will see advertisements displayed on the interface. I will give Konica Minolta less than a year to monetize the new feature and start selling ads on their MFPs.
