UBIC Inc., a specialist in Asian-language discovery services, has announced a partnership with NextGen Inc. NextGen specializes in Voice over IP (VoIP) services for Japanese telecommunication companies. Together, the companies plan to develop call recording and audio analysis technology for UBIC’s forensics and e-discovery platform Lit i View.
UBIC hopes that the partnership will speed up the development of cloud-based audio analytics, including recording, recognition, and transcription technologies. These additions will help clients with oversight against illegal activity, insider trading and cartels, as well as the preservation and discovery of evidence.
