AccessData Group has launched SSL Locksmith, a program that exposes the contents of SSL-encrypted network communications, helping users improve their cyber security.
SSL, or the Secure Socket Layer, is a major encryption standard for encrypted websites, and constitutes more than a quarter of online traffic on most networks. According to AccessData Group, many network and security applications are blind to the actual contents of SSL-encrypted communications, which can constitute a security hole for rogue applications, viruses, data theft, and more.
